Hard Work Continues....

It's been a bit quiet on the blog lately but that's because we've been working our butts off to get Petronella ready for the water again. Some of the jobs completed are...install AIS, prepare and paint deck and topsides, install second solar panel, sand down galley and revarnish, refurbish cockpit (thank you Zerrin), close two through hulls, replace bobstay tanks, purchase new danbuoy, repair top of mizzen mast. On it goes day after day.

Zerrin and Gill embark on yet another sanding session

But finally there is light at the end of the tunnel. Another few days and the painting will be finished. Then on Friday Gill's sister Ali and husband Mike are out for a week. Two days later we are back to the UK to see my parents and our girls. Then it will be back to Kaş for a final few days before we set off westwards back to wards Gibraltar and thence on across the Atlantic to the Caribbean. Woot, woot as Jenny would say.
